Building Confidence and Lasting Connections with Khadijah.

Khadijah, a past ZNotes ambassador coordinator, stands out as a journey of self-discovery, skill-building, and meaningful impact. Initially introduced to the platform during her IGCSE studies, she admired its concise and clear notes. This positive experience, coupled with the unique internship opportunities highlighted in ZNotes’ newsletters, motivated her to apply for a position.

Before I joined ZNotes, I was terrible at managing my time. But after I concluded my role as an ambassador coordinator which involved a diverse set of responsibilities, my time management and leadership skills have improved immensely.

Her role also helped her develop proficiency in using tools like Discord and Notion, as well as mastering public speaking. Hosting check-ins was initially intimidating, but she adapted by embracing the challenges, noting,

“I decided to just go with the flow and not let that affect me… my confidence in speaking really built on that.”

One of Khadijah’s fondest moments was conducting her first solo interview. Overcoming her nerves, she celebrated the milestone as a testament to her growth. This experience, along with leading impactful workshops and facilitating interactions among a global team, contributed to her enriched worldview and deeper cultural appreciation. The community’s collaborative spirit and shared mission of ending educational inequality provided a supportive and inspiring environment that left a lasting impression on her.
